The trailer focuses primarily on the new characters, spotlighting the leader of the Maximals, Optimus Primal, vocied by Ron Perlman. The new movie, which is set between the events of Bumblebee and Bay’s films, will include familiar Autobots like Optimus Prime and Bumblee, and it will also introduce new characters, including the Maximals, Terrorcons and Predacons. Directed by Steven Caple Jr., the forthcoming seventh installment in the Transformers franchise will mark the first effort without Michael Bay‘s involvement.
